Job Description for Behavior Technician:
• A Behavior Technician works one-on-one with individuals who are diagnosed with autism.
• A Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Licensed Behavior Analyst
• A Behavior Technician is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition plans and behavior-reduction plans developed by their supervisor
•A Behavior Technician must possess a Certified Behavior Technician with WA State Department of Health (ESST will provide the training)
Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
• Works directly with the client providing ABA Treatment in sessions that last 2-4 hours
• Follows an individualized curriculum & treatment plan developed by the supervisor
• Takes daily session notes and collects data on progress during therapy sessions
• Drives personal vehicle to/from client homes and schools
• Works independently and accepts supervision from the supervisor for at least 5% of all treatment hours worked per month.
• Participates in staff training
• Maintains certifications and registrations and takes all required training
• Adheres to HIPAA Laws and maintains client confidentiality

Pay: Starting at $20 per hour for billable work, $14.49 for travel time, training, and admin work
